OUR MISSION


Everyone has an abundance of valuable stories that deserve to be told, unfortunately, these stories go lost throughout people’s lives. At Lost and Found, our mission is to recover these lost stories and share them on a tangible platform to be used as tools for connection. We aim for stories to be utilised as a methods for creating meaningful physical and emotional connections. This will help people feel more comfortable being vulnerable, feel validated in their experiences and gain a better understanding of others. Our Mission is not just to find stories but also use them in a way that will positively impact people. 
 

OUR VISION

 
Our Vision is to create unique tangible platforms for people to interact with each other stories, experiences and emotions. Rather than highlighting stories from only the perfect moments in people’s lives we feature all experiences and emotions to find stories from real people. By sharing real stories from real people on a wide range of tangible and interactive platforms we can use stories to connect us.

OUR VALUES 

 
Sharing stories and emotional experiences can be a intimidating task. This is why at Lost and Found we maintain high levels of intergrity and respect when displaying and sharing people’s stories. We want our audiences to feel safe when they interact with Lost and Found.

COLOUR


The primary colour palette of Lost and Found is wide and is based on the colours of the rainbow. This colour palette is to be followed losely as various tints and shade of these colours will be used. This type of colour palette has been chosen as these colours are most often used when considering emotions and colour theory.

 As emotions are everchanging, lose and fluid Lost and Found has a colour palette also reflects this notion.



TYPOGRAPHY



Quasimoda is the primary font for Lost and Found. The font gives an assertive, clean but also relaxed connotation which connects with the brands values. Using the different weights of the typeface allows for an effective type heirarchy and for the typographic content across the brands platforms to be highlighted. 














LOGO


The Lost and Found logo is inspired by pen marks on a page when writing. It aims to reflect both the uncertainty and floating quality of stories that are untold and also the definitive tangible telling of these stories being told. It does this by having thinner lose lines lingering around thicker, more definitive lines which represent a story being recorded. 

These thinner lines go lost when the logo is presented at a smaller scale but are more visible on a larger scale which also reflect the idea of being lost and then found.
